Definitely normal. It's the in camera stabilization you hear. I can't remember what causes it but it's normal and nothing to worry about.

I personally like RF lenses better than EF glass. Yes you can use the adapter but these RF lenses are a monster. I love my 28-70 2.0 Glass.

I had no idea there were 3rd party lens makers for Apple cameras, aside from clip on add-ons that do not require any proprietary disclosures from Apple.

As far as accessories go, just about any strap, case, screen protector manufacturer makes a product for Canon. No input is required from Canon to make them. In other words, Canon does not have to go to those factories to show them how Canon does it. Canon doesn't have to help them beat Canon.

There is a video in Youtube that shows how to fix a intermitten shutter release on 20D, 40D etc. ,without take the camera apart by using alcohol. You might want to try it on your 5D.

Thanks for replying to my question. The problem has been solved.
I got help on site at the F1 race from an TV camera operator. I did not know that I have to reduce the shutter speed to 1/50s respectively 1/100s if I use 50 Frames/s. This problem has been solved.
The next one with immens brightness I could just solve partially by closing aperture. Next time I will fetch an filter to reduce brightness.

Well I never said no one has a use for them, simply that many don’t want to deal with an adapter. For example I wouldn’t wouldn’t use a lens that can’t take front filters and I personally wouldn’t bother with old EF lenses when there’s newer third party options being released constantly.

I have used an Epson R3000 for some years now. I had clogging and cleaning issues with earlier Epsons, but not this one. I sometimes go weeks without printing with it. (I have an HP Laserjet for everyday B&W.) When starting up yesterday, it seemed to take forever to run through cycles, and then even longer to start to print. I trust that means it is cleaning out whatever has dried and then running tests until clear. Anyway, it works like that is what is happening. Ink is getting harder to get. Epson’s site had it in stock, but when I tried to place my order, the web page would go into some loop about correcting the format of my address to suit the USPS, and then wouldn’t let me make changes. So I went to Amazon’s site, and ordered the Light Magenta I will soon need. The other colors were priced $15 higher, so I didn’t get the two others I would have ordered from Epson. Printing out of Photoshop, when I choose “Printer manages color,” I get great prints. If I need to get a newer model, I’m tempted to get one that adds purple ink. I took a shot at dark when sailing out of Venice. The print looks great. (Copies hang in three states.) But maybe purple ink will let the sky be the kind of inky black more like I see on the screen rather than the blacker black of the print. But I’ll look into those issues only when replacing ink gets to be too much of a pain. (And since they weren’t shipping by USPS anyway, I don’t see why they couldn’t just deal with the address of mine in their system that they have used for years and years.)

If anyone is going to the London, Ont. airshow this Friday or Saturday and has room I need a ride. I live in Toronto at Bathurst and Sheppard.

I believe this locking system on mine was weak and of course they were always backordered. Without the lock it wouldn't stay in place, so like I stated above EW-83M worked.

But, does anyone know why the flash does not fire when the camera is in electronic shutter mode?

It's unusual that butterflies get caught in spider webs as they have a sort of powdery coating which helps them prevent getting stuck in a web.

Indeed. To round out my collection, I'm wanting to get their new 50mm f/1.0.

I had been looking hard at the TTArtisans 50mm f/0.95...but since it doesn't come rangefinder coupled from the factory I don't want to bother with it and risk having to adjust it myself, etc...

And I figure not THAT much difference between f/0.95 and f/100, you know? That plus the Voigtlander quality is much greater in build and optics than the TTArtisans, which on its own, is pretty decent I read, but not nearly as good as the Voit.

Yes, Polo mallets (and whips) bend like that. I've only had my R3 a short time, but I don't see the rolling shutter my R5 had. And I shoot electronic shutter exclusively. If you look a the ball it's always round.
