Bummer. Oh well. Maybe i just bite the bullet and start saving for the RF15-35 2.8. It'll take a while but might be worth it in the end

It's not the quality of the image, its the quality of the content used. They could surely have used something more entertaining to demonstrate itGet yourself a different device from which to view
All good, but I think that's your definition of BBF. Most folk who claim they don't like BBF simply don't use their thumb from what I've gathered. Regardless having eye AF on the shutter leads to problems so it's better as the second instantaneous choice as you've suggested.I hear what you’re saying, buy with traditional BBF, the shutter button is only used for activating the shutter, and AF is activated only by using the AF/On and/or * buttons.
With my method the shutter button activates metering and AF, so if I quickly raise the camera and half-press the shutter it is instantly ready to fire, without having to also press the AF/On button. I find this much better for grabbed shots.
I like to keep the AF active as default, and use the AF/On to activate/deactivate animal-eye AF.
If I need to focus/recompose, I press the * button, which switches to smallest AF spot and locks focus distance.
Great troubleshooting! Great persistence! Congratulations!Yes, Yes, Yes! I've found the solution !
Canon Poland and Canon Europe couldn't help me, but I was shore the problem is in aperture information.
I've bought the dandelion chip and it helps, but later I've found the cause of the problem, which is the menu card with minimum and maximum aperture setting.
When minimum aperture is set for example f 4.0 the problem is here. But when the minimum aperture is not set (f 1.0) everything works fine. Maximum aperture do not have influence for the issue so it is not important.
Thanks for the heads up. What interested me most was: "The dual-pixel sensor will allow an EVF near equal to an optical viewfinder, faster frame rates, effectively no blackout, and no significant rolling shutter." Canon's dual pixel technology is a real plus, and if Nikon has it too then it's kudos to them. Maybe Nikon js buying its sensor from CanonNikonRumors just posted this on the Z9: https://nikonrumors.com/2021/10/20/...ly-leaked-picture-of-the-z9.aspx/#more-161850
Of the three quotes in bullet points, the third is the one that interests me the most: the price "is going to be a surprise, of the positive one".
It's a slow camera with so-so IQ. But better resolution than the R3... And miles behind the Z9
Wondering where the R1 is in development? Seems aside from the Z9 nothing exciting going on in the FF market.
Fuji MF now dominates with their 50s and 100s..... Leaving Hasselblad to figure out how to justify a $47,000 USD body.
Canon where are you?????? The R1 could fill gaps not only where the Z9 leaves off, but bridge the gap to the Fuji market.....
We sit... we wait....
SorryI positively hate you for reactivating my GAS(with cashback, EOS R is now dirt cheap, I think I'll get a second one...)
The best method to avoid focus shift. There's a mode where it will keep the lens stopped down, so you get a proper exposure and DoF simulation without having to keep the DoF preview pressed down.
Canon sells the C70 - a cinema camera with RF mount and S35 sensor. Seems to me like an indication Canon expects to sell RF lenses to cinema market, even if low end (the body is priced at $5,500) at this time. This is an odd one. This adapter won't help them sell more RF lenses.
I think it would make sense for Canon to keep making low end cinema equipment with RF mount. So it they are going to make money it has to be selling S-35 bodies but we are continuously bombarded with messages that S-35 is over and Canon is moving to FF & Vistavision. Those rumors would seem to be exaggerated but I really wish Canon would produce a Fing road map so I can buy with confidence.
There is a photo bundle and a video bundle each year....I got this 2 years ago but it had a lot more directed toward video. That year i got a lot of useful courses, training, luts, etc. This has been photographer specific for the last 2 years which isn't for me but have had good experience with this in the past.
Both my 15-85 EF-S and my version I 24-105 EF had terrible zoom creep. I just learned to live with it.I’ve never had a lens that suffered from zoom creep.
Or a little less, counting cropping for the aspect ratio. On the other hand, there is a small margin. But that resolution doesn’t sound so awful considering the 20MP and 26MP files I normally print. I think the Epson software does a rather good job interpolating and in doling out the eight inks. That's about 127 pixels per inch.
The fact that we are discussing it indicates they are doing their job well.Having no announcement date and teasers, yes, the worst.
Thanks a lot you all for the replies.(...) I hope my comments were helpful to Nuno.
