Yesterday, a Peregrine was reported hunting a Snipe in the local nature park. But, the Snipe escaped. Today, it was being guarded by a Cormorant in breeding plumage. (R5ii +200-800mm)

Nice photo! Me thinks the Cormorant took a little bit risky duty : if there is no better prey the Peregrine may take it down!
