I have the 1D mark IV on a tripod and pointed to a bottle which is on the table.
Camera settings are : AV, AI SERVO an 10FPS burst and 5FPS (slow setting)

With 10 FPS I noticed that not all frames taken are exposed correctly.
With 5 FPS It seems all frames are correctly exposed.

I was wondering if it is normal that some frames are not exposed correcty with AI servo / 10 FPS combination ??

Thanks.

I've noticed that as I'm shooting a horse going by, once in a while one or two of the photos will be blown out, but I just chalked it up to changing light and imperfect metering.

That bottle must be moving pretty fast to be shooting it at 10 fps from a tripod! :D

what was the shutter timing?
could it be that the light measurement system is sometimes partly blokked by the mirror movement?

The correct exposed where 1/400 and the over exposed where 1/200 sometimes 1/160
I would suggest the mirror movement is not blokking the measurement system.

With 5 FPS the exposure is correct all the time.
Seems to be an issue with the high burst 10 FPS
