Just received an email from Canon:

Canon USA Factory Service Repair Notification‏

We have received your equipment for evaluation and repair. Based on our initial examination, we will begin the necessary repairs at no charge to you. You
can expect the repairs to be completed and shipped back to you within approximately 7 business days* from the date shown above. There is no need to
respond to this notice.
Any damage due to liquid, sand, corrosion, battery leakage, or accidental damage is specifically excluded from warranty coverage. In the unlikely event that
any internal or external damage is found due to any of the above mentioned conditions, a revised estimate will be sent for your authorization.
The Canon U.S.A., Inc. Repair Facility may repair your equipment or exchange it for refurbished equipment of the same model, or for new or refurbished
equipment of an equivalent model to your equipment, with the same or additional features. Recovered, manufactured, repaired and/or recycled parts may be
used in connection with such repair.

Black spots in images, rubber grip near shutter release switch is peeling. check all functions and repair to good working order. No response needed.

all seems good until now :)

besides the dust, I pointed out that the grip was coming off near the shutter... It never happened in my 7D (2.5 years of heavy use)
I hope you also sent the lens. Its very easy to decenter the elements in a lens, a common issue. Probably a fairly good chance that it happened. You should check once you get the body back.

I haven't, Did some quick test and the lest is fine, however when the camera arrives will test it again.
