Canadian CPS Pricing: 5D Mark III and 1DX

I have a hold on a 1DX at Henry's in Toronto. When I put the hold on a couple months ago I was told to expect the CPS price to be about 500-600$ less then the Canadian MSRP (so 6500$ or so). I was expecting the 1DX near the end of this month, but with the potential NEW delay until June [CR2] I am toying with the idea of nabbing a Mark III and perhaps selling it off once the 1DX launches in June. Or falling in love with it.

Has anyone in Canada with a CPS membership bought a 5D Mark III? I've emailed Henry's but I have not received a response yet. I know CanonCanada has them in stock and they are tempting as well. has anyone heard differently regarding the 1DX CPS pricing?

Also, if you want to tell me to fully expect the 1DX to be launched and shipping April 22nd, then go ahead and make me feel better. I have work in Mexico in May and I'd rather have the 1DX for the gig then the Mark III... I'll admit that part of that is ego.

I am curious as to where the NEW release date came from. The last info that I saw (Feb 27/2012) was that it would be released by April 22, 2012. If this new date is real, any idea why the additional delay? Just curious - that's all.

The new date was submitted as a rumor here [CR2]. I've been looking elsewhere online to see if I can find any supporting (or hopefully contradicting) info. Sadly, I'm not as well connected as CR.

I really hope its just an April Fool's gag. I'm sure we'll know more within a week.
