first paid gig need help

What suggestions does anyone have for what to charge we have not set a price and not sure what the going rate is.

This may sound silly, but if I were you, I'd tell my "friends" to pay what they think it's worth after they see the pictures.

You're not a pro and apparently not in it for the money. They seem to have offered to pay.

Seems like it would take a lot of pressure off everyone to have this kind of arrangement. And, my guess is they'll pay more than you're probably willing to ask at this point.

Admittedly, I did not like this idea at first, but after thinking about it, his idea is rather valid. What I would charge or half the people on this forum would charge doesn't matter. I worked for almost two years with family and friends before I felt comfortable setting rates. Even now, rates can be tricky.

I'm no pro at all, but I would suggest a second body and forget about changing lenses. Maybe the 24-70 and the 70-200, and the flash.

Extra batteries and be sure that you have lots of memory. Aside from that, have some fun.

I was considering a second body like the upcoming 70d. It would make my sigma 35 close to 50mm
