reading through the review it smells like the cini cameras.. of course the usual suspects on CW have gone off on a tangent on this being for DSLR's .. or mirrorless, but why would you have a service for this when most would use adapters?

I really can't imagine why this would be for DSLR's. its most likely for EF / PL lenses, right now its a major job to switch and align the mounts. presumably, some provision will be made for alignment.

I doubt if many would want to pay the additional cost that Canon would charge for the feature, and PL mount lenses are expensive in full frame versions.
