The first with the red eye is just great!Trying to redeem myself. The warbling vireo is not too great but a photo lifer for me. I cannot stop taking loon pics.

Looks like a northern flicker, in my far-from-expert opinion.Merlin couldn't ID this bird, can one of our local experts tell me it's common name. First time I've seen one around our house.
