Thanks Craig! :)

Beautiful shots, Alan.

Thanks Click, I didn't know it's up...
Edited: it looks like Alan should take the scores for letting us to know the birds are alive! Never-mind: it's as a good news as it is!

Saw a distant raptor 80-100m away so pointed the R5ii with the RF 200-800mm + 1.4xTC at 1120mm. It works pretty well and I was able to identify it as a Buteo buteo, the European Buzzard, only 400px x 500px in the image. For amusement at 1120mm, a portrait of a House Sparrow at 5m away (cropped).

Enough of mirrors and back to resolution. The EF 100-400 L II with EX 1.4 is still the sharpest lens I have in the 600mm range. All with R7. My Anna's hummers are very friendly this time of year. I think they know they are on the dole 🤣.

My challenge of the summer: Little birds sitting in the reed.
Hard to spot, hard to focus, hard to shoot.
R5m2 + RF200-800 + 1.4 TC

"Hard to spot, hard to focus, hard to shoot" and after that not much appreciation... But once you may see something rare in the same circumstances, you should be able to take the photo, I mean practice is good thing! If I could I would put here 5X(y)
