They are amazing. It’s remarkable how some will never back down. Anyway, owls are great.Not as nice as Alan's, but here are a few we got a few years back. Funny thing is we aren't supposed to get these little guys in my part of the world either, but there he was. A guy actually argued with me about it. When I showed him the photos he told me that I didn't take them where I said I did.

Hadn't read and said to myself, they should be better but now I understand.R5 + 100-400mm II set at 371mm (don't make that mistake on a prime). The first is my favourite pose for a Nuthatch, looking down, at iso5000. The second, looking up is at iso8000. Both are rather cropped. Processed in DxO PL4 - DeepPRIME required for these.
