Show your Bird Portraits

This morning's photo 'project' started with an effort to image some blossoms from our front yard tree with other blossoms, evergreen, sky and/or clouds in the background, in an effort to 'see' bokeh as well as nature's colors.

The results have been posted -->here<--.

At the tail end of this search for nature's colors, I came upon some more 'nature', supplied by our pair of house sparrows.

=====

The images posted were acquired within a 36 second time span, and acquired using M6MkII mated to adapted EF 70-300 II; very light Photoshop editing.

A Blackbird has been singing his heart out for the past two days from the top of the highest tree in our garden, looking for a mate. So, in the end, I slapped the 800/11 on the R5 and snapped him for the memory.

First time that I saw a common redstart in my garden. I've seen black redstarts before. ...
Some more from that common redstart (I'm sure that it's not a black redstart).
200D, 100-400L II, @400 mm, f/5.6, 1/500 (pic 1,2) and 1/250 (pic 3,4), ISO 800
Last pic was when she got too nervous because of my presence. ;)

I was ready to post the image below a day or two ago at the very time when the Blackbird above greeted me when opening CR. Lots of interesting sounds from this guy...

In an effort to get a 'better image', I went back outside to try again...and, alas, my black bird is not a 'Blackbird.'
