Singapore is okay as a stopover to Europe but mostly architecture IMO. Not too much nature if that is your thing. They have a night zoo but Sydney Taronga has Roar & Snore for a price and some of the best views of Sydney Harbour.

Thx to you Sydney does sounds a lot more interesting! Singapur is a typical stopover and most people who've been there tell me: "48 hours really is enough in Singapore". If possible, we'll do Sydney first and then head to NZ.

The 35mm f/1.4L VCM (or Rainbow Rattler) has issues with longitudinal CA, so I'll keep my EF 35mm f/1.4L II for now. I hope Canon will release an optically uncompromised version for photographers. Nevertheless, a 50mm f/1.4L can only be an improvement over the old EF version.

The RF 50mm f1.4 L VCM is now (november 8) on Canon’s supply status page (link to google translated post). As are the RF70-200mm f2.8 L Z in both black and white.
