We’re told a lot of the imaging line will see new products.

We’ve confirmed that Canon will announce new projectors at various price points for Photokina. You can also expect new printers in the Pixma line, at least one of the printers will be “Pro”. No word on the much desired 17″ Pixma Pro printer. We’ve heard it was in development, but we’re not sure when it’s coming to market.

We can also expect a couple of PowerShot announcements. A new durable camera is likely. We’re still waiting on the SX60 to make an appearance, and this seems like a good time do it.

Lots more to come…

Given that I'm looking at my "90 Percent Off" Pixma Pro 100, I might hazard a guess at one of the printers that will be replaced.

It's only been two years since the Pro-100 was released so I'm not so sure about that. I'm pretty sure the reason the printers are always so deeply discounted is because Canon is running on the blade and razor business model. The ink and paper is really where they're making their money.

I'm hoping for an X Mark II L Calculator Mouse, with a direct print button and a red cord.

Who's with me?? 8)

I used to have a Fujitsu keyboard with built-in clock, calsulator, and trackball. Why not a mouse?

It could also have a camera built-in. OOPS, that patent is taken :D

Oh, the mouse exists. I'm merely hoping for a Mark II L version of it (or not...). :)

Hoping for a Pro Series that uses Lucia Ex for closer "hard proofing" before sending orders to the large format shops.

I asked the guys at CES - the Pro series was coming on three years and due for an update. And neither the Pro group or Large Format group wanted to claim ownership of the 5000 series.
