Preliminary!
Tough crowd!
Canon is not letting anyone do anything with the camera. Samples and everything are being pulled down all over the web.
Part of why I posted this is because of this iron fist Canon has on testers. If the camera turns out trouble free, then we'll all be happy.
Keep checking back to his site to see the indepth review of the camera. I was just pointing out a guy that has done some good write ups in the past and is a good contributor to Canon Rumors.
Even Mr. Laforet isn't allowed to release much.
First Impressions
A new preview/review is up for the 1D Mark IV. This is very preliminary. I'm sure the final review will be coming closer to the time of release.

What kinda BS is this???
This is not a review or a preview. Just a waste of
time and effort.
That’s why people go to dpreview to see the real thing. The others are just wannabes
i own a 1d3 and would only use 1’s and it is not a
super user friendly camera. Have u tried using a Nikon D3? It’s useless freindly!
This bozo is compring a 7D to the 1D.
If u want a button for
everything, get a powershot
I already preordered the 1d4. I don’t need to read a review since at this point in time there is no better option
to upgrade from a 1d3, Definitely not a 7D, and since I hate full frame, this is
going to be my next camera no matter the reviews
Don’t be so hard on this reviewer, it’s not his fault Canon were difficult with him. They did the same thing to me with the 7D. I declined their offer.
The condition was that I was not to view anything that I’d printed using their
direct print button, so I deemed any conclusion would not show the camera’s true capabilities.
This guy may be as useless as Ken Rockwell.
I think this camera will fall back a month at least. I don’t think it is ready. Canon knows there is stink in this release. They’re close to fixing it, but not there yet. As for missing 7D features. This camera was meant to be released in the spring with different styling. It all got rushed.
That’s funny because that direct print button is one of the key features that they love so much. I would have never bought a canon slr without one. ;)
I think I might pull out the 7d and just hit that direct print button a few times and smile.
