Sensor delays A new sensor line will appear in 2013 that will be seen across the entire APS-C lineup. Expect to see the first announcements in the first half of 2013. The delays in developing the sensor was apparently a big reason for the big firmware update for the 7D. It’s also suggested that there may not be a 7D/60D amalgamation in the future. The Big Megapixel EOS Similar information has been sent to [NL], that a 46.1mp Canon DSLR will be previewed at PhotoPlus 2012 in New York City between October 24 – October 27, 2012. From OneRiver Media The folks at OneRiver Media decided to compare the EF model of the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III. They put both cameras through a battery of tests to compare sharpness, dynamic range, lowlight performance as well as a few others.
