Doesn't one of the leaked photos show a CFexpress light and SD card light? That sounds like a CFexpress + SD configuration rather than Dual CFe.
If the lens is released along side this C50 camera, it will likely be full frame. The sensor in the image of the camera appears to be a full frame sensor, based on its size relative to the mount diameter.I secretly hope that 11-55 will be aps-c and not FF. 2.8 all the way
Must cost arms and legs.I knew the 11-55 is a cine zoom. Would have been too nice to have an extreme RF or RF-S lens.
Not for filmmakers and cinematographers. Just a normal day. No need to worry about a floating sensor when IBIS is turned off when mounting the device on a vehicle. No need to worry about swiching the IBIS from ON to OFF period. Simple workflow. Need IBIS there are plenty of "B" devices for that.If the C50 has no IBIS as has been rumored that's going to be a huge fail on Canon's part. Guess it will all be clear soon.
This EOS Cinema camera is not for those wanting IBIS.i cannot understand why Canon did not put IBIS on this camera. That was the most obvious thing to do and they left it out! They made a camera with all bells and whistles in a compact size so as a wedding videographer which I'm working now with a c70 and fx3 I could do the move and buy the c50. Ibis is not an option anymore on these compact cameras but a must have for run and gun situations and ease of use!! I'm driving mad about this... they need to fire the ppl that took that stupid decision really! Nikon, Sony, Panasonic have Ibis and Canon for whatever reason they don't... I'm really tired with this company!!
There is talk of Canon making a screw in EF adapter without a focal reducer,That is a lock screw mechanism to support heavy cine glass and has nothing to do with the EF adapter. As pointed out C80/C400 use the same mechanism and are full frame.
True, those new Lumix full-frame cameras have active cooling and still overheat. The sensor cooling solution can be engineered to be more robust without an IBIS unit in the way as well.
That's your point ok BUT for the size of this camera it should have IBIS for run n gun filmmakers just like the other brands do it and succeed! Canon always bring the cripple hammer in the game no matter what... I don't like it and I won't live with it... period! If you are ok with it then it's your problem..!Not for filmmakers and cinematographers. Just a normal day. Canon is shifting it's Cinema line away from hybrid. Sony high end Cinema lines do not have IBIS. Filmmakers and cinematographers do not want a floating sensor in their "A" cameras or "B" cameras. And no you cant turn OFF the floating.
