Two New Lenses, Including an RF 85mm f/1.4L VCM Coming September 9

The reason it would have no IBIS is dynamic range. To get the maximum out of the sensor it needs to be properly cooled. And I assume that's a lot more difficult when you cannot stick a giant heatsink to the back of the sensor. In that case I would prefer more dynamic range and electronic with lens stabilization.
I've been using the R5c electronic stabilization and it pretty decent. It's the right trade off for me.

RF lenses' IS are reasonably good. TBH if the CMOS has fast readout(sub 10ms), the rolling shutter effect is small enough to not care IS

^ I’m also curious about this too. The specs here, though enough to use for ‘Spatial Video,’ seem to fall short of the 180° capabilities of the R5C.
I believe that the R5mk2 was also designed to include functionality of the dual fisheye. A cinema camera is not required. The R5 hybrid stills/video system should not be tethered to the EOS Cine line. Canon will most likely update camera and lens firmware to incorporate any lens functions. This is good because by detethering the two lines all genres will benefit. In doing this there is no need for a separate R5C hybrid line.

Doesn't look like the 85mm is coming today.
It was announced and available for pre-order.

with the usual video previews available. For example:

That's your point ok BUT for the size of this camera it should have IBIS for run n gun filmmakers just like the other brands do it and succeed! Canon always bring the cripple hammer in the game no matter what... I don't like it and I won't live with it... period! If you are ok with it then it's your problem..!
You sound like a child having a tantrum.

Yes I may sound like a child because I was hoping for one time Canon not screw up like this again! When Canon is marketing all around the web "the fx3 killer" and they forget to put one of the most critical things into the camera which is "IBIS" then how this is "fx3 killer"? We wil keeping disagree to the end of time... so let's finish it here.
