I could see from the exif, that you used f8 and I am quite impressed on the depth of focus.
What was the distance? And did you do some croping on that pic?

I am not sure to 100% but I think the distance was about 30cm or 0.99ft, scale1:1. The picture size is original. But . . . you are right, the deep focus is strange. I can not explain.

Maybee the distance was a little more than 30cm or 0.99ft

I would have guessed that it might have been about 50 cm and some croping compareable to this one here

But maybe I'm just a little bit missled about the DOF by comparing the bee to the dragonfly, which is a lot bigger than the bee.
