In Wisconsin, Golden Eagle and Townsend's Solitaire are rare, but can be found during the winter at Devil's Lake State Park. On Monday, 3 Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch were found as well! They are extremely rare. I drove out on Tuesday morning and found 2 GCRF. I also saw 1 Golden Eagle and 2 Townsend's Solitaire. Pretty awesome few hours there! The eagle caught me off guard and it was still fairly dark out, so my lone photo of it isn't very good. 7D mkll / EF600 f4 ll / 1.4x lll

One of my local parks along the lake, was a hotspot during November. It is a county park, but there are a couple of feeders, near a parking lot. The feeders have been there for over 10 years. It can be very good at times, especially with inclement weather or during migration. There were a couple of rare birds, Spotted Towhee and Red Crossbill, along with a few uncommon ones, Tufted Titmouse, Purple Finch, and Pine Siskin. There were also numerous common birds, all of which made it an extremely fun place to spend hours with a camera. 7D mkll / EF600 f4 ll / 1.4x lll
