This would be amazing! If it were reasonably compact, light and with IS for APS-C. It would be an outstanding upgrade to the legendary EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM. If it manages to have the same level of IQ improvement that newer RF lenses have had vs their 20 year older counterpart it would be an instant hit.
I fear the price tag would be north of $1K for sure. Still, it would replace both the Sigma RF 10-18mm F2.8 and the RF 18-50mm F2.8 with IS. So, I'd expect the price to be in the ballpart of (probably higher than) the combined prices of both Sigmas. You'd loose 1mm on the wide side, but gain 5mm on the long end for a FF equiv of 17.6-88mm. The more I type about how great I think it would be, the more unrealistic it sounds... and the higher the the expected price tag gets
