  1. I think the OLED-thing is BS. Of course OLED is readdy to rock but Canon will never bringt product as one of the first.

  2. What I am hoping from the GX1

    -At the very least a 24mm wide lens

    -Lens starts at f2.0

    -Bulb mode

    If it doesn’t have that it looks like I will be getting a LX4/LX3.

  3. these “cheaper and crappier cams” pay for your lenses. if Canon eliminated its compact division I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be seeing all the lens updates we’ve seen in the last 5 years … we’d be riding on 80s technology still

  4. The Color Accent feature seems to matter in Canon compacts now. The SD1200 doesn’t have it, the SD780 does. It’s become a desired feature for the young people.
