Foveon is property of Sigma, so that kills the spec list. Unless Canon has their own version.
– 5FPS
– 16bit (16 bit what?)
– BG-E9 Grip, uses 7D & 5D2 battery
– 7D Weathersealing
This one deserves a massive grain of salt like I said earlier.

Can Canon add FOVEN like mood to 7D? Canon yes you can
You can download photos (converted from RAW without any noise reduction or sharpening) from http://www.juzaphoto.com/eng/articles/canon_1d_mark4_review_comparisons.htm
(Unlike the photos from imaging-resource.com, these are taken in the same light.)
If you normalize them for sensor size, resolution and black level (Nikon applies some in order to get rid of the black noise), you’ll get virtually identical noise level (the difference is utterly invisible for someone who sees the whole image on normal sized display or paper, at ISO 12800).
(Note that he is comparing the photos without normalization, which has little practical meaning because photographs are usually taken with the same subject magnification, regardless of the resolution / sensor size, meaning that the photos must be compared at the same resolution, not at native resolution.)
Something is forgotten here: the resolution of Foven sensor is quoted is actual pixels, whereas that of Bayer sensors is given in photosites.
27 MPs for a Foven? Christ! Even at 5 MPs they are know for the higher noise level (because the upper layer photosites block some light from reaching the lower layer photosites).
