Any news on the 1D X?!

Until today, the official release date for the 1Dx is April 30th in Japan.

Yeah been checking google for 1D X news daily too, seen some amazing videos from it. Waiting for this low iso, dying to get my hands on it 
I am not a pro, just love photography, been shooting all my life, what I love is not 14fps but the low iso. Wish canon integrated gps in it 
cant beleive they still using usb 2.0 it blows. Oh well. I dont think they will introduce anything new from what they already anounced, just bug fixes and stability was the focus over past couple of months, so dont hope for anything thats not on their web

When I did play with 1D X back in october 2011 in NYC show it had this follow focus where you could lock on someones face and it would keep it sharp, remember it has one processor dedicated to AF, so I just hope it will be amazing in real life shooting. When I was playing during the showI had no access to images so have no idea how many of them were good or bad, but will see soon I hope. I am just waiting for the iso, love to shoot without flash, so low iso is going to be the key for me and if AF will perform I'll be very happy.

I don't understand the problem of having USB2 only. I personally would have gone without a USB connection at all. First, most people with 1 serie cameras copy their cards using card reader. Second, the 1Dx has a freakin Eternet port! So if you want to transfer your files using a wired camera and up to 100 meters away, there you have it.
Canon probably made the Eternet port so that it could also be used to manage setting on the camera, debug the software, update the firmware, etc. So I really wonder why there is still a USB connection on the 1Dx. They should have save this space and put a headphone out connection instead...

Am not sure I buy the 5DmkIII spotlight as a reason for no 1DX info yet. As people start to rave about the D4, Canon should react to shut them - at least surprising their marketing team is so quite.

While I'm waiting until May to pull the trigger on the 1D X, I'm still disappointed to hear this as that'll just push my order even further down the road. Although foolishly, I initially did say as long as I had one by September, I'd be happy.
But a guy can change his mind right? Not to mention all this 5D III stir going on, has me just itching for news and RAWs of the 1D X.

Hoping to use it it for the Airshow season this summer now it looks like I might be lucky to get one by then.. :-[
But I thought they had officially announced it would be available end of april? Well they did in the UK anyways take a look,,

The rep had only just spoken to the big wigs in Japan & that date is what she was told.
