Canon PowerShot G17 Coming in May? [CR1]

I think Canon is droping the G1#'s series and moving in G1X's series, sort of what they did with the 1D series - now just 1Dx.....

G1Xmk2 was in rumour status for a while...and now a G17 competing model just "pops" out of nowhere?

i guess they just got it wrong and it´s a 1 /1.7" sensor like in the G16.

I think that was somebody's wish list not the spec list. It has been my wish list for a few years.
