D11?
A 2nd waterproof added to the lineup?

There could be a slimmer and trimmer version of the D10 coming down the pipe. It would be an addition to the lineup and not a replacement of the very successful D10. It would be 12mp, have 720p video and have a depth rating of 10 feet.

SD1300
Possibly the most successful line of ELPH cameras, the SD1xxx series will receive a bit of a makeover. Expect to see a 2.7 inch screen and a slimmer body shape.

SX210
The replacement of the SX200 will be along the same lines with a new selection of colours and a user selectable popup flash.

All CR1 stuff, stuff should start rolling after the holidays.

Vacation
I'm currently in Ireland visiting the inlaws. I have a mobile internet stick, so keep the emails coming!

    Slimmer than a 1200IS?

I bought a 1200IS for my wife for Christmas and it’s pretty slim as it is…

  2. My sister bought a D10 to take hiking with her in the mountains, weight is really important, she weighs everything to the gram. Being waterproof is also a bonus.

Much to her suprise, several hikers started carrying 5D MK II cameras and lenses. She asked me if it was that good, since she knows I have one.

When weight is at such a premium, carrying a heavy camera and lens must mean that it is worth the sacrifice to a lot of hikers.

  3. yeah exactly! I couldn’t care less for a Powershot rumor. I want a 7D sensor without the price of the pro AF/frame rate that I’ll only use 0.1% of the time
