The Canon EOS R5 will begin shipping on July 30, 2020

According to Nokishita, the Canon EOS R5 will begin shipping in late July in Japan, and on July 30 in the United States. There was no mention of a European release date, but you can be pretty sure that it will hit that market around the same time.
It’s also reported that the RF 600mm f/11 IS STM and RF 800mm f/11 IS STM will also begin shipping in late July.
The ship date for the RF 85mm f/2 IS STM Macro has not been mentioned as of yet.
Two other previously rumored lenses, the RF 50mm f/1.8 IS STM and RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM are likely going to be some kind of a development announcement and will begin shipping later in 2020.
I have been told that the Canon EOS R6 will begin shipping on or around August 27, 2020.
The ship date for the Canon EOS R6 is currently unknown.
Update: I have updated the article to reflect the shipping date for the Canon EOS R6

R5 Available before the end of July! R6 by the end of August!

According to Nokishita, looks like the R5 will be on sale in Japan in just a couple weeks before the end of July! I imagine it will be the same for other locations.

Shipping of the R5, RF600mm, and RF800mm are set to start July 30 in the USA. He can't yet confirm an R5 lens kit, but the R6 will be available as body only as well as an RF24-105mm lens kit.

Please advice some good lenses

Hello Everyone, I am using Canon 600D I remember buying it in the year 2014. Right now I am mostly taking a photo on person and product. I usually need a photo that can clearly take a shot on what I am focusing on and burry the background. But I do not know which lens to get. I do not mind about the price I just want a lens that can help me work and take a good beautiful photo. ดูตารางบอลสด
Please advise me, even though I am still new with camera but I believe that practicing and taking photos every day will make me improve to be a better photographer. ดูตารางบอลสด
Thank you in advanced

DPR releases 1DX Mark III review

1DX Mark III review up at DPR.

"Key takeaways:

  • Class leading dynamic range when using the mechanical shutter; more flexible files than those from Nikon's D5 or Sony's a9 II
  • Using the fully electronic shutter reduces the camera's dynamic range such that it falls between the Nikon D5 and Sony a9 II
  • The 1D X Mark III isn't entirely ISO invariant, but boosting an ISO 400 exposure by four stops looks about the same as native ISO 6400"

RF 28-70 F2L vs RF 24-70 F2.8L IS vs EF 24-70 II

Hello I currently own the EF 24-70 II. For you that own the new RF zooms, are they worth the upgrade for IQ quality and focus speed? I shoot a variety of settings, but this would be sport sidelines (cheerleaders or bands or players BB or Football) or event (concert) or work occasional outdoor senior work (as a prime alternative). I alternate my 70-200mm IS F2.8L II with an 85mm IS 1.4L as needed for the situations.

Here are the Canon BG-R10 Battery Grip, Canon WFT-R10 Wifi Grip & LP-E6NH Battery

Canon is releasing two new grips for the Canon EOS R5 and likely the Canon EOS R6, but I cannot confirm the compatibility of these two grips.
The new LP-E6NH keeps the same Canon shape you’re used to, as well as compatibility with older batteries. The new battery is said to have a big bump in capacity.

I was curious as to how many people are jumping on the bandwagon as soon as it is announced and why?

I'll likely wait a few months at least after release, to read up on reviews and get an idea here of how real world folks find it.

I also made a very $$$ unexpected purchase a few weeks ago, too good a deal to pass up, by another manufacturer (hint, 100MP digital medium format)...and well, I gotta start saving my pennies again for the R5.

But I'll be watching with great interest on the side lines.

I'm curious what everyone else is planning......

This should be exciting!!

8K recording options for the Canon EOS R5 leak

Here is a sneak peek of the 8K recording options for the upcoming Canon EOS R5.
As you can see, you can shoot either 8K DCI or 8K ultra, which will be slightly different resolutions. The resolutions of the two modes will likely be 8192×4320 and 7680×4320.

Codecs for 8K recordings appear to be ALL-I, IPB, and obviously RAW.
8K 30p and 4K 120p will not have a crop.
There will be no recording 8K video to both cards simultaneously.
Outside of environmental factors, there will be no overheating issues when recording 8K for more than 15 minutes.
