Show your Bird Portraits

Excitement today. There is a Peregrine Falcon's nest 2/3rds up the building in the first photo in one of our main streets. There are 4 chicks, and today they started to look as if they are ready to fly and appeared on the ledge. A group of suitable knowledgeable enthusiasts has gathered to help if they fall.

This evening, the Female perched above the nest and then flew off. I had the shutter at 1/400s to keep the iso down, but I must have panned to get the head sharp and the wing blur shows motion.

I find it ironic the 4th pic has wings like a gargoyle.
