It’s coming The one lens in the Zeiss lineup I’m interested in actually using is the 18mm f/3.5 Distagon. Zeiss is showing the lens at the Photo Expo show in Tokyo and will be available near the end of 2009. Probably looking in the $1300 range for the lens. What’s coming? Canon has switched up a couple of announcement dates over the last year. The Rebel XS and T1i not coming at big shows. They also replaced the 40D and XSi after one year (give or take a month). We will see 2 new lenses announced before christmas as well as at least 1 DSLR. The 50D replacement should be coming. Not too many people see it being replaced with a full frame model. What specs do you take away from the 5D Mark II to come in at a lower price point? The other camera people are lusting…

Right again We nailed the specs on the T1i pretty good. We had no idea about the 20fps 1080p. I really have no idea what that’s about. We also nailed the replacement of the 220EX that would have the ability to tilt. It’s about time! Lenses are still proving to be difficult to get good sources on, but we’ll keep at it.
