But they at least had 2 primes (22mm f/2 and 32mm f/1.4) even if they just throw an RF mount on those like the other lenses I'd be happy.

the 1.4 wide angle primes will not be announced....I think Canon knows the 35mm has become a meme, and they like it.

That would make a lot of people mad who are still waiting for the regular f/1.4 primes and the 35mm f/1.2.

Repackaged EF-M lenses should be a no-brainer and fill out the APS-C/walk around segment.
Any niche product is likely to be expensive but could be another lens that brings niche shooters across to the R mount ecosystem.

Would be tempting to stash away $$ for that one if it's reasonable in weight and price. Especially if it's compatible with the extenders for the full range.

Now Canon probably thinks that crop users can just mount RF primes, like the 35mm 1.8.
